Filinia terminalis: lateral view. In contrast to to Filinia pejleri the body of this species is oviform.
 
Filinia terminalis: lateral view of another specimen. Bl: bladder; GV: germovitellarium; Mx: mastax with trophi; St: stomach. Species with two lateral setae (rLS: right lateral seta; lLS: left lateral seta) and one caudal seta (CS); relative long lateral setae inserted near corona; immovable caudal seta inserted terminally. Distance of caudal seta to distal end of trunk: <15µm.
