Diplophrys archeri Barker, 1868
Diplophrys archeri, small (ca. 10µ) shell "amoeba" with spherical, transparent shell. Two branches with filopodia emerge on two opposite sides. In the cytoplasm a typical yellowish oil droplet.
 
Location: Simmelried near Konstanz, Sphagnum-pond (1); NSG Schwalm-Nette pond with Sphagnum and Utricularia sp. (2)
